Your blog is amazing, Dave. I especially like the clear and colorful pictures. In fact I prefer pictures to the real thing in the case of most insects.

Hiya, Mr. Stone! It’s me, Vicky. I’ll be keeping tabs on this blog of yours from now on. The blogs you link to are also excellent ^^
Dear Mr. Stone,
We were reading a bee book called Bee by Karen Hartley. It had pictures of real bee larvae and pupae in the bee hive. We were wondering how they got the photographs from inside the hive. Do you know?

Hi Class,
Thanks so much for send your note! I’ll be glad to help answer your question. I’m not familiar with the book you are reading, but if Mrs. Maxson could scan one of the pictures and mail it to me I should be able to answer your question.
I’m thrilled to see that you are using the Internet to contact others who can answer your questions. I look forward to seeing the pictures!

Hello Dave, This is Vandana, we met on Nov 10th at KodaRoamers meeting. First thanks for the wonderful presentation on the macro photography.
I just went so far 1/4th of your bolg, and loved it. I also came to know few of the bugs name which come in my garden in spring and summer time. may be I’ll find those caterpillers also which come in my garden soon thru your blog
The quality of the photos are GREAT. Wonderful details (even though bugs make me feel creepy), interesting behaviour patterns. I loved how some of the bugs are so well camouflaged with the background. Saw some intersting looking bugs too, which is hard for me to say they are bugs
In short, I’m sure once I finish looking at your blog and photos over this weekend, will inspire me to take my macro lens out of the bag and try something. There are still few bugs hanging around my garden.
Hopefully you’ll get time to read my this mumbo-jumbo. Good to know you, and sure we’ll be in touch. Afterall photography and this world, both are much more fascinationg
Thanks, Vandana
